LEARN THE WARNING SIGNS
Child abuse does not always leave obvious injuries. Warning signs may appear through a child's behavior, physical condition, emotional well-being, hygiene, school attendance, or sudden changes that do not have a clear explanation. No single warning sign automatically means that abuse is occurring. But patterns, unexplained changes, injuries that do not match the explanation given, and a child's own words should never be ignored. Recogizing the signs can be an important first step in protecting a child
PREVENTION & EDUCATION
Protecting children begins before abuse occurs. Education, early intervention, family support, and communities willing to recognize concerns and speak up can all play a role in keeping children safe.
IN THEIR MEMORY
The children remembered on Abuse Angels cannot be brought back. But their stories can still make a difference.
Learn the warning signs. Listen to children. Ask questions. Speak up when something does not feel right.
Every child deserves to be heard. Every child deserves to be protected.
